Behind Kolonia IT is Szymon Borzęda
I build software that solves concrete business problems
I have been designing and building software for companies since the 1990s. Over that time I have delivered projects for large organisations and smaller businesses alike — from systems supporting production and sales to complex web platforms.
I try to understand how a company works and what it really needs. On that basis I choose the solution and the way to deliver it.
From idea to a working solution
I can help both with building a new application from scratch and with developing or modernising an existing system.
I am especially at home in projects where a company's way of working has to be turned into a simple, convenient and reliable tool. That might be an internal system, a web application, an admin panel, an integration with another system, or the automation of repetitive processes.
I work with GDPR and digital accessibility (WCAG) specialists. This makes it possible to account for those requirements already at the design stage, rather than dealing with them only once the work is done.
Experience matters
I have seen many ways of building software — both good ones and ones that, after a few years, lead to costly problems. That is why I favour solutions matched to a company's real needs and able to be developed and maintained for years.
